Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,

Last month was a refreshing start to the year 2012 and now we have come to last term of the academic year 2011-12.  God Almighty has been gracious to us and we have been tasting the flavours of success in all our activities so far.

Success sans good character lasts but for a little while!  On the other hand a good foundation of character ensures success beyond measure.

Talent is a gift, but character is a choice. There are a lot of things in life that we have no control over - We don't get to pick our parents, our upbringing, our talents, our IQ, but we do choose our character. In fact, we create it - every time we make choices.  Crisis doesn't necessarily make character, but it does reveal it. Adversity in our lives is a crossroad where a person chooses one path - Character or Compromise. Jesus was the ultimate example of character. Every time we choose character, we grow more into the image of Christ.

Character is who you are when no one is looking.  Proverbs 20:11 Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. As someone rightly said, 'Your walk talks and your talk talks but your walk talks louder than your talk talks."

Good character brings lasting success with people. It opens up doors for lasting relationships with those around you.  So let us look at every aspect of our life; our relationship with God, our spouse, our children, our peers, our employer. Identify short cuts and short comings. What patterns of weakness do you see? These are character issues. The beginning of character repair is when you face your flaws, repent and deal with them.  So let us strive to cultivate a good character.   Let us pray and seek God's deliverance.  He's the only one who can change us and give us a new heart!!

May God be with you and help you always!

Your affectionate Principal,

Rev.Fr.Santhosh Mundanmany
